As many of you know, I recently conducted a 10 week study examining the relationship between earthing and weight.
Participants were asked to touch the earth for a minimum of 15 minutes a day on a daily basis for 10 weeks, and they were followed weekly for changes in weight, mood, pain, stress level, sleep, energy level and other quality of life parameters.
I was thrilled with the results and wanted to share them with you first here!!!

After 10 weeks of touching the earth for at least 15 minutes a day, 100% of the participants reported:
- increasing their activity level over all
- significantly reducing stress levels in their lives
- and normalizing their appetite/reducing cravings
75% of the participants also reported:
- improved mood
- improved sleep
- improved energy levels
- and reduction in chronic pain issues.
Here is where it gets interesting.
The participants with pain issues had their pain issues resolve, and the participants with no pain issues were the ones that lost weight.
It seems that the earth knows exactly what you need most and goes directly to heal you on the issue that is most acute.
Every single person who lost weight did so because they had no severe pain issues going on.
And every single person who had severe pain issues at the onset of the study had their pain dramatically and significantly improved but did invoke significant weight loss.
The participants who initially reported having moderate to severe active pain issues upon the start of the study had a significant reduction in their pain levels instead of losing weight.
The participants who had low to no active pain issues at the onset of the study were the ones that found a significant change in their weight… most of them losing between 4 and 15 lb. in just 10 weeks, making no other changes to their lives then touching the earth.
No forced diet or exercise plan at all.
In other words, the majority of participants whose body was not facing inflammatory/pain issues lost weight by doing no other change then introducing earthing into their daily life.
All patients who had active inflammation (as evidenced by active pain issues) had a significant improvement in pain levels without having weight loss.
If a patient had an active issue of pain/inflammation in their body at the onset of the study, earthing went to alleviating their pain first.
If a patient had no inflammatory/pain issues, the earthing began directly reducing weight.
Simple as this:
If they had an active pain issue, their pain was reduced.
If they had no active pain issue, most found their weight fell off.
I believe that the neutralizing power of the earth is so powerful, so dynamic, and so healing that it attacks acute problems first.
That means if you have an active health problem such as pain, you can look forward to earthing immediately and directly alleviating your pain if you earth daily.
If you are healthy with no active inflammatory/pain issues, you can look forward to earthing going to help other more chronic issues such as reducing your weight, resetting your metabolism, mobilizing fat, and stabilizing blood sugars.
The bottom line? Trust the earth to know what supports your body best as you move towards wellness. Whether you find pain relief or weight loss, just 15 minutes a day or more could change your life!
