Eco Friendly, Recycled, Fabulously Glitterized Banner tutorial

My house needed a little glitter to get 2012 started off on a fabulous foot. And I mean, who couldn’t use a little more glitter in their life? How can you really go wrong with something so superfluous and happy, I ask you???? I created this banner with my daughter, and it was really fun. It’s perfect for all ages, a great project to do with the kids or on your own! My daughter and I chose to create a banner that reads: “Seek Magic” for a fun reason. Gazing balls for your gorgeous fall yard… craft tutorial

“Gazing Balls” just doesn’t sound right, does it? I mean, I have a spam filter and all, but dang. Gazing balls? I almost wrote “Glitter Balls” but oh my goodness that’s worse. So, in preparation for her new room, I’m painting it this week. She picked the color… it’s Interactive Cream from Sherwin Williams, low-VOC paint. I was pushing

My Favorite Thing… In the Bedroom

Blues and greens and browns… soothing to me. And if you recognize those curtains, yes… they used to be in my dining room! This week’s My Favorite Thing is the bedroom… and I’m just warnin’ ya, there are going to be a LOT of pictures! What I love most is that clump of pictures hanging right on the wall… Here is my bedroom… although I don’t get to see it like this much. Picture the bed messed up, the pull out love seat opened up into a sofa bed, tons of Legos everywhere, and lint and dog hair making an
