Sneak a peek into the world’s first Earthing children’s book!

Whew! This is a corner of my crazy office right now… between patient care and painting my children’s book illustrations I’m feeling quite busy, but joyfully so. I’m painting the final pages of my third children’s picture book… this one’s all about how to support your child’s natural healing powers through earthing.   As I talked about on Monday, earthing can do some awesome things! You are sure to be hearing a LOT more about earthing in the upcoming year — more studies coming out on it’s ability to heal a variety of illnesses and chronic conditions, as well as […]

Breathe Deeply

Breathe Deeply… healing artwork     Is your doctor thinking outside the box? This is what I’d love them to know… that what we were taught in med school only scratches the surface of the magic and potential that we hold in our bodies.   Here is the perfect example… your lungs. Fav Quote #3

Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, But around in awareness. – James Thurber       I love this quote! One of my favorite quotes of all time, I wanted to capture it on paper and bring the meaning alive. Sometimes I really need this reminder. Sure, I can see the beauty in every day and in the earth and the trees and the wind and in my child’s laughter and in my husband’s eyes. Even in the pain of life… But in the boredom? It’s just so… boring. Yet I love that Buechner chose that word specifically… it’s

Jewelery Reveal #2… reaching for joy!

You all know I wrote the book Jake, A Guinea Pig Finds Adventure to illustrate for folks, young and old, how reaching for joy can change your life. How sometimes a change in perspective… with a little dash of gratitude thrown in… can make the difference between living life in a sanctuary or a cage. Well, I just had to carry my favorite illustration out of that book into a piece of jewelery to wear. Jake, finding triumph as he reaches for joy. I love that feeling of finding unexpected joy in the little things… the moments where my heart
