8 Ways To Support Intuition (and Heal the Third Eye Chakra)

One of my patients came to me complaining of constant migraines. Frustrated after being given an “alls clear” by her family practitioner but still suffering from debilitating headaches and increasing fatigue, she came to me at her wit’s end. Working together through several consultations we were able to elucidate the cause of her symptoms. Turns out her fatigue began increasing when her job position changed to include customer service at work and her headaches are accompanied by dizziness. Going through her past medical history we were able to find out that she is an empath — a highly intuitive person […]

Part 2 — Behind the scenes on The Grounded

The third and final day of filming last week was my favorite.   That’s because I got to meet with some of the most inspiring people I have ever met from across the country — on top of the wonderful, sincere and innovative director Steve Kroschel, I met with world-renowned cardiac specialist and holistic physician Dr. Stephen Sinatra, MD and Earthing guru and founder of Simply Vibrant, Dr. Christy Westen, DC   (To see candid still shots from the first movie filming session back in April, click here (with Apollo astronauts Charlie Duke and Edgar Mitchell.) A 5 minute DIY supplement for brain health!

It’s one of my best ideas ever, I believe.   You see, coconut oil is just so fabbo it feeds your brain, is an extremely healthy source of much needed saturated fat, and supports your entire body inside and out.   I use it head to toe… everything from a hot oil hair treatment to a moisturizer (find out more about all that in my Skin Happiness book right now!) to oil pulling to cooking and as a nutritional supplement to prevent Alzheimers.     But look at this stuff. Sometimes… it’s hard to choke down. And then I had

Is your drinking water harming your heart?

It might be if it is fluoridated water. A study published in the journal Nuclear Medicine Communications definitively proved that fluoride is absorbed into your vascular system and that the fluoride uptake is higher in patients with cardiovascular events then it is in patients without cardiovascular event. Researchers followed 61 patients after administering fluoride and found that 96% of them had fluoride uptake in their cardiovascular walls.   After hundreds of studies have shown fluoride affects everything from cognitive function in humans to diabetes, fertility and more in animals, I recommend avoiding fluoride in water and never use fluoridated toothpastes.
